Since 1979, Around Laverton has been keeping the residents and business people of Laverton-Altona Meadows up to date with the latest news in their area.

Our advertising rates are very favourable because we are not a profit-making concern.  The paper is run completely by volunteers.

We provide a service to our local community.  Our printing costs are our major expense, and we cover these with the revenue we receive from our advertisers.

Some of our advertisers have been with us since we first produced the paper in 1979 – nearly 30 years ago.

We offer our new advertisers a free 50-word story about their business and the service they provide in the area, to further raise awareness of their business in our local community.

Advertisements bought in blocks of three and paid for in advance will receive a 5 % discount.  For example a $20 size ad X 3 = $60 less 5% = $57. Ads of $215 size X 3 = $645 less discount of 5% $32.25 = $612.75 (this is the same as they were paying $203 per ad)

Our closing dates are on page 2 of each paper for the following month or by request over the phone. Ideally we like the information to be in by the first week of the previous month to give plenty of time for layout and printing. Sometime this is not practical, so rings us and checks and, if possible, we will do our best to include your ad or story or colouring competition in the current paper.

 

Advertisements can be sent via e-mail or post or fax or pick-up. We can scan logos change the size of the sample to fit another price size or change the words within the ad. As requested by you.

First time ads receive, regardless of size, a small FREE story (about 50/60 words).

Our circulation is 6,000 distributed free to all homes in Laverton and sections of Altona Meadows, Seabrook. Plus libraries in Williamstown, Altona and Altona Meadows.  Selected shops and factories and business in Laverton North, Point Cook, Altona, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee also receive papers.
